Ginsuzu movement

*waves frantically*  Yes, I am still here – just!  But RL has been sapping my energy like you wouldn’t believe so yes, I am still tardy.  Ho hum!  SL hasn’t helped either.  I had some time on Saturday and set up some fantabulous (aint I humble?!) shots to show off this fabulous dress, a (relatively) recent release from Digit Darkes.  Sadly, the glow that I spent an age balancing to look just right would not show on my snapshots.  Thanks to Whimsy Winx and the other helpful folks in FE for their assistance as I tried to figure it out.  Seems to be a viewer issue, and given the choice of glow on pics vs disappearing prims, I decided to forget the glow!!  OK, there’s my little aargh moment out of the way – I guess I should talk about the frock now!! SLink photocomp entry

Siddean Munro of SLink recently ran a photo contest (the name of which I have shamelessly stolen as the title for this post) to celebrate the launch of the stores new island. I had such fun doing the pics for the Digital Dragon comp, I figured I might as well have a go at this one too and spent an evening preparing – rummaging through inventory, checking out locations, experimenting with poses etc. When it came to it though, things didn’t quite go according to plan.

Chocolate Sin

Last but by no means least in this series, the dress that was my initial inspiration. This is one of Eshi Otawara’s more conventional dresses for her Chambre de Chocolat line, in a deep reddish-brown, to me a little more henna than chocolate but still sinfully delicious.

Blaze Crush Orange Turquoise Purple

I was about winding down for the night yesterday when a notice came through from Blaze about a new release – Crush. I took a peek at the attached picture, and immediately tp’d over there. This is the teeniest of tube dresses, tight and slinky and the colour range and layers provided just screamed options to me.
