I seem to be rather fond of orange at the moment, which is strange, because I never would have said it was one of my colours, but this bright and bubbly dress sure caught my attention.
Joodle Fadoodle of WigWamBam is a relative newcomer to designing, but her work is showing real promise. Bold colours and fun motifs combine to create some distinctive, eye-catching designs. This particular dress with its cheerful dotty pattern and colourful psychedelic applique is a great example, and the whimsically hand-drawn belt is quite charming. The skirt comes with a sitting script, which I’m not a big fan of, but it was easy to make a copy and take this out. I played up on the yellow of the belt with the lovely scarf from Aoharu, and another outing for the ChiChi’s, and the orange with the jewelry, and then threw on a favourite pair of jeans to ground the look a little.
I’m also wearing Tuli’s new Elizabeth skin, much seen on the feeds this week, and I couldn’t resist the opportunity to see how it looked on me. The real stand out point I feel are the lips, drawn much softer and more naturally than in Tuli’s previous skins, plump and kissable.
